This page explains the production stages and timelines for PENSAKI Ready and PENSAKI Business, from placing the order to postal handover.

From 250 items. Formats requiring pre-printed paper need an additional 3–5 working days for printing.

Standard formats: ready-made stationery, ready for immediate processing

From 10 items. No custom design is required; you submit only the texts.

Order and content review
Once we receive your order, we review whether the content can be produced as requested. The start of production depends on the selected payment method; see Payments.

Writing by PENSAKI robots
The text and addressing are written with real fountain pens rather than printed.

Enclosing and postage
The letters are inserted into envelopes and franked with a genuine postage stamp.

Postal handover
The mailing is handed over to Deutsche Post within 3 working days after production begins. You receive confirmation by email. Subsequent delivery times are listed on the Shipping times page.

Custom artwork and individual formats

From 250 items. You provide your design as a PDF, and our robots add the handwritten content.

Order and artwork submission
Upload your print-ready PDF files either when placing the order or afterwards. Automated validation checks the format, bleed, resolution and colour mode.

Payment
The selected payment method determines when production begins; see Payments.

Printing only for pre-printed paper
Required only when your stationery or postcards need to be printed before handwriting. This normally takes 3–5 working days and, depending on the format, up to 7 working days. Example for a DIN A6 postcard: 3–4 working days without finishing and 5–7 working days with UV varnish finishing. Formats using existing or unprinted paper skip this stage.

Approval sample
A handwritten approval sample is provided within 24 hours on working days.

Your approval
Series production begins only after you approve the sample. The duration of this stage depends on you.

Handwriting, enclosing and dispatch
After approval, dispatch normally takes 5–7 working days. For orders exceeding 25,000 items, allow 5–10 working days; an exact timeline is available on request. Dispatch and any requested delivery date are coordinated with you in advance. Shipping options and delivery times are listed on the Shipping times page.
Total time until dispatch:
  • Without prior printing: normally 5–7 working days after your approval
  • With prior printing: normally 8–10 working days, including printing and handwriting after approval
